#TheGreatBeautyofGuangdong Workers were busy at the construction site of the third phase expansion project of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport when we visited the site on March 1.

The project is important for the Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC), Guangdong Province, and Guangzhou. It is also the largest airport reconstruction and expansion project in the history of civil aviation in China with a total investment of 53.77 billion yuan.

The expanded part of the airport is expected to be put into operation in 2025. Now, its main steel structure has been completed, and further work, including the secondary structure, curtain wall, and metal roofing, is in progress.

      春风拂面，建设争先。3月1日，我们走访广州白云机场三期扩建工程发现，建设者们正抢抓施工黄金期，紧锣密鼓推进项目建设。

      白云机场三期扩建工程是中国民航、广东省和广州市的重点建设项目，也是中国民航历史上规模最大的改扩建工程。白云机场三期扩建工程总投资537.7亿元，计划于2025年建成投产。目前，该工程的钢结构已全面封顶，如今正在进行二次结构、幕墙、金属屋面、精装修等多专业穿插施工。
